Pretty good. Servers and host were great. Wings were really really good. Great size. The philly fries was delicious. Baked potato was ehhh ok. But what great service and def will be back. Has an older tavern sticky floors feel to it. All in all. Good.
The food was good I ordered the fish and chips and it was very sad looking only came with two fish and the fries weren’t even the same ones in the picture it also said on the menu it came with coleslaw and I did not receive it with my order. The burger I got for my girlfriend was perfect just as everyone else described them would only go back for that because when I also got my drink (this is all to go) I asked for sweet tea and they gave me a bottle of sweet tea so I guess they don’t serve regular drinks there and it’s all bottled. Need less to say I would probably not go back for myself.
this is an average of two experiences. One was a weekday around 4 PM and it was fantastic. The food was great and the atmosphere was lively. Last night, it was really weird. The dining room had different music from the smoking bar and they competed with each other, most servers were serving the bar, so we didn’t get a whole lot of attention . The food was not very good. do not get the pizza rolls. The nachos were OK. The wings are fantastic .The staff is wonderfully friendly. I just decided that I would be going during the day from now on.
If you dine in, the service and food are amazing. If you order Togo , not so much. I tried their marketed “ order online “ feature and wasn’t impressed. It took a while to be greeted and when I told both a manager and person stationed up front that my order is “ right there” they ignored what I was saying. If I ever get the chance to dine in , sure it’s a great experience , but I’ll never order Togo or tip 25% on a Togo order here ever again. Also my sandwich and fries were soggy, and the bag was barely tied shut. Not worth the $20 to order Togo. However, in person, or dine in TIP YOUR SERVER. They run their asses off and work hard to create a truly remarkable experience. But Togo is not worth it. I don’t get a ton of free time to go out a lot so I sadly won’t be back for some time to really fund the servers.
Came by Varners for a late night meal and to hang out. Decided to go with the wing combo. The wings were cooked perfectly, perfectly crisp yet still tender and juicy inside and neither overcooked or too flabby. The fries were alright, nothing special but did the job, however the portion was rather small. The vibe inside the bar was nice, as we went on a weekend there was both trivia and karaoke available for the patrons. Service was alright, initially we were checked on for food and first round of drinks, but the visits from our waiter for additional rounds started to become barren as the night progressed. Overall decent bar with some great wings and fun activities to do at night.
